image_identity ( : : : )

Reset the current transformation matrix.

image_identity sets the transformation matrix used by image_transform__ to the identity matrix, i.e., to the identical transformation. The operators image_scale, image_translate, and image_rotate can be used to successively build up an arbitrary affine transformation by modifying the current transformation matrix used by image_transform__. If a new (!) transformation is desired, the current transformation matrix has to be reset by calling image_identity.

Example
image_identity(:::) >
image_scale(::256.0,256.0,0.5,0.5:) >
image_transform__(Image:TrafoImage1:1:) >
/* ... */
image_identity(:::) >
image_rotate(::256.0,256.0,3.14:) >
image_translate(::-256.0,-256.0:) >
image_transform__(Image:TrafoImage2:1:).

Result

image_identity always returns TRUE.

Possible Successors
